Minister Marko Djuric

He was born on June 25, 1983 in Belgrade.

From 2012 to 2014, he was an advisor to the President of the Republic of Serbia for foreign affairs.

From 2014 to 2020, he was the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija. He was the head of the Working Group of the Government of Serbia for internal dialogue on resolving the issue of Kosovo and Metohija. In September 2020, he was a member of the Serbian state delegation at the negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina in Washington. He participated in summit meetings and the presentation of Serbia's state position on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija with the leaders of the People's Republic of China, the Russian Federation, Germany, France, etc. Together with the President of the Republic, Aleksandar Vucic, he attended the first bilateral meeting between the leaders of Serbia and the USA at the White House after two decades.

From 2012 to 2020, he was the head of Serbia's negotiating team in the dialogue with the Provisional Institutions of Self-Government in Pristina. He led Serbian delegations to a total of 221 rounds of Brussels negotiations with representatives of the PISG in Pristina.

He is the head of Serbia's negotiating team for Chapter 35 in the process of negotiations between Serbia and the EU.

From 2020 to 2024, he was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to the United States of America.

Holder of the Order of Njegos III degree - Republic of Srpska; Order of Nikola Tesla – Tesla Scientific Foundation; Order of King Milutin – Serbian Orthodox Church; he is the winner of the award for the best young politician of the region for 2016 - the European Movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He conceived and co-designed the emblem that is today a generally accepted symbol of Armistice Day in the First World War in Serbia - Natalija's Ramonda.

He is a law graduate by education, speaks English and Hebrew fluently, and uses French and Russian.

He is married to Andrijana Djuric and is the father of three daughters - Jovana, Milicа and Djurdja.
