Serbia's relations with the Union of the Comoros need to be boosted in all segments. The Comoros were among the countries that withdrew the recognition of the unilateral declaration of independence in respect of Kosovo in 2018, which is another gesture of friendship that characterises mutual relations.
Visits of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the two countries were exchanged in 2018.
The potentials of economic cooperation between Serbia and the Union of the Comoros have not been sufficiently utilised. This is evidenced by rather modest trade, with 19,000 euros imports in 2019 and 1,000 euros imports in the period January–November 2020. The possibilities for creating legal frameworks for certain forms of economic cooperation are being considered.
