Serbian Foreign Ministry and Chamber of Commerce to pursue joint activities abroad
On that occasion, Djuric and Cadez pointed out that in the period ahead they will strengthen the cooperation between the Foreign Ministry and the Chamber of Commerce aiming to carry out joint activities, both in Serbia and abroad.
They noted that one of the first activities will be focused on creating preconditions for Serbia's membership in the World Trade Organization. In this context, it was agreed to form a joint working group, which will deal with this issue.
Enhancing the network of honorary consuls around the world will also be one of the joint priorities, the interlocutors stated, pointing out that the honorary consuls will include prominent businesspersons from their respective countries, who can contribute to boosting Serbian economy.
In addition to the above, Djuric and Cadez noted that, apart from joint business-related activities abroad, it was necessary to re-establish foreign trade representative offices in as many countries as possible, which will create preconditions for presenting the economic capacities of our country in an improved way.
