Serbian Citizens Successfully Evacuated from Doha by Special Flight

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the Government of the Republic of Serbia, successfully organized another evacuation flight, through which Serbian nationals were safely transported from Doha and landed at Belgrade Airport.

The State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Damjan Jović, who coordinated the evacuation, stated from Doha that through this complex logistical operation, the Ministry continues its series of evacuation flights from conflict-affected areas in the Middle East.

“Today, we are evacuating approximately 250 of our citizens who were located in Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain. This is the most demanding operation we have conducted so far in logistical terms. Throughout the night, we transported our people from Bahrain and Kuwait through Saudi Arabia to Qatar. These are extraordinarily complex procedures, but as you can see, we have all successfully boarded,” Jović explained.

According to him, around 250 individuals have safely returned to Serbia today, to the great satisfaction of all, underscoring that the Republic of Serbia remains committed to the care and protection of its citizens.
