Minister Selakovic sent Christmas greetings according to the Gregorian calendar

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nikola Selakovic sent Christmas greetings to church dignitaries and believers celebrating according to the Gregorian calendar, with the wish that the holidays give them peace of mind, well-being and unity.

“May Christmas Eve and Christmas fill the homes and hearts of believers with the power of timeless values of forgiveness, mutual respect and tolerance, while encouraging the fostering of multiconfessional and multicultural harmony", Selakovic stated in the congratulatory message to the Archbishop and Metropolitan of Belgrade, Msgr. Stanislav Hocevar. 

Selakovic pointed out that in these challenging times, the joy of the birth of Christ reminds us again that only united and in harmony can we overcome all temptations on the path of contributing to the overall progress of our society.

On the occasion of the upcoming Christmas, Minister Selakovic also extended congratulations to Bishop of the Slovak Evangelical Church Jaroslav Javornik, Bishop of the Reformed Christian Church Bela Halas and Bishop of the Evangelical Christian Church Gabor Dolinski.
