Minister Đurić Speaks with the OSCE Secretary General
During the conversation, they also discussed the OSCE budget, adopted earlier today, as well as the importance of ensuring adequate resources for the uninterrupted functioning of OSCE missions, including the Mission in Kosovo and Metohija.
Minister Đurić emphasized that Belgrade expects the OSCE to continue, without diminution, to monitor, document, and report on the position of and respect for the collective political and human rights of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, pointing to the numerous challenges faced by the Serbian community on a daily basis.
He particularly underscored the importance of the OSCE’s key functions in the field and assessed that the Organization’s consistent and impartial engagement is of great importance for preserving stability and fostering trust among communities.
The interlocutors agreed on the need to continue close cooperation and the exchange of information with a view to maintaining stability on the ground.
