Minister Đurić signs the Book of Condolence at the Embassy of North Macedonia

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, signed the book of condolence today at the Embassy of the Republic of North Macedonia in Belgrade, opened in memory of the victims of the tragic incident in Kočani.

"In this difficult and tragic moment that has struck our friendly and brotherly North Macedonia, the Republic of Serbia stands firmly by its side, offering all possible assistance in caring for the injured," Minister Đurić wrote. He emphasized that Serbian doctors would provide the utmost care for those receiving medical treatment in Belgrade and Niš, treating them as their own loved ones and doing everything in their power to support their recovery.

Minister Đurić further underlined that Serbia shares the profound sorrow felt by every citizen of North Macedonia and mourns together with its Macedonian brothers and sisters, marking March 18 as a Day of Mourning and lowering flags to half-mast.

"To the families of the victims, I extend my deepest sympathies and words of comfort in their immeasurable grief, while to the injured, I send my sincere wishes for a swift and successful recovery," Minister Đurić wrote.
