Minister Djuric: Easter is an opportunity to remind ourselves of the importance of preserving Serbian tradition, faith and identity

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Marko Djuric extended Easter greetings to His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije, clergy, monks of the Serbian Orthodox Church and all believers celebrating the biggest Christian holiday according to the Julian calendar.

"I am convinced, Your Holiness, that with wise words and deeds you will continue to promote the spirit of unity and solidarity, instilling in all of us the strength to join efforts and resolutely confront all the challenges facing our country and the Serbian people, especially in Kosovo and Metohija and in the region", stated Minister Djuric in his congratulatory message.

Wishing that the greatest Christian holiday be celebrated in peace, love and harmony, the Serbian Foreign Minister noted that Easter was an opportunity for all of us together to remind ourselves of the importance of preserving Serbian tradition, faith and identity, as well as the importance of fostering mutual understanding and tolerance in building a society that promotes freedom-loving values and nurtures the spirit of truth and justice.
