Minister Đurić confers with the President of the UN Security Council
Minister Đurić emphasized that the regular sessions dedicated to the situation in Kosovo and Metohija and the work of UNMIK are of immeasurable importance for assessing the on-the-ground challenges and informing the international community about developments in Kosovo and Metohija.
The Serbian Foreign Minister underscored that Belgrade remains firmly committed to the position that dialogue is the only path to achieving sustainable solutions for Kosovo and Metohija. However, he also stressed that the continuation of the dialogue requires Pristina to fulfill its obligations under the Brussels Agreement, primarily enabling the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities.
Đurić acknowledged the significance of France's call, during the recent UN Security Council session on UNMIK's work, for the protection of non-Albanian communities in Kosovo and Metohija. He also welcomed France's clear call to Pristina to meet its obligations regarding the Community of Serb Municipalities.
Once again, Minister Đurić reiterated that Serbia remains firmly committed to the goal of building peace and stability, both in Kosovo and Metohija and across the entire region.
