The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, met today with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation, Aleksandr Botsan-Kharchenko, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus, Sergey Malinovsky.

During the meeting, a range of multilateral issues were discussed. Minister Đurić expressed his appreciation to both Russia and Belarus for their principled positions on the matter of Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, underscoring the importance of the continued support Serbia receives from these countries in international organizations.

Minister Đurić devoted particular attention to the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, especially in light of Pristina’s announced intention to construct two new bridges connecting the northern and southern parts of Kosovska Mitrovica—an initiative he described as being in direct contradiction to the outcomes of the Brussels Dialogue.

Furthermore, Minister Đurić stressed that Belgrade perceives this unilateral move by the provisional institutions in Pristina as a potential threat to peace and security in Kosovo and Metohija.

He further noted that when this development is viewed alongside the latest wave of politically motivated indictments against Serbs, it becomes evident that this represents a broader manipulation by the Albin Kurti administration—one aimed not only against the Serbian population in the province, but also against the efforts of the international community to preserve peace and stability in Kosovo and Metohija.
