Minister Dacic receives a farewell call from the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta
Minister Dacic thanked the interlocutor for everything he had done as Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta in Belgrade, successfully discharging his duties for thirteen years, and especially for carrying out charity campaigns aimed at helping Serbia's most underprivileged population.
The Minister pointed out that the friendly relations between the two sides were being fostered for centuries, noting that Serbia was not forgetting the fact that the Sovereign Order of Malta had donated a ten-car hospital train to the Kingdom of Serbia in 1885.
Ambassador Alberto di Luca said that he was sad to be leaving the Republic of Serbia and his post of Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta in Belgrade, emphasizing that Serbia was a wonderful country of exceptional people and that he was proud of the strong friendship between the Sovereign Order of Malta and Serbia.
Ambassador Alberto di Luca presented the Head of Neighbouring Countries and Southeast Europe Department Milos Cavic with the Cross Pro Merito Melitensi order, awarded by Grand Master John Dunlap, for his contribution in resolving the decades-long problem in the postal traffic between the Republic of Serbia and the Sovereign Order of Malta.
