Đurić confers with Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, spoke with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda, Olivier Nduhungirehe.

During their phone conversation, Minister Đurić emphasized the traditionally strong ties and friendship between Serbia and Rwanda, which date back to the era of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY) and the Non-Aligned Movement.

The Serbian Foreign Minister highlighted the significant potential for enhancing bilateral relations across various areas of mutual interest.

Minister Đurić reaffirmed Serbia’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with all African nations and recalled that since 2017, Serbia has observed May 25 as the Day of Friendship with the Peoples of Africa.

On this occasion, Minister Đurić expressed his hope that Rwanda will be among the participating countries at the Specialized Expo 2027, which Serbia will be hosting.
