State Secretary held a briefing with students of the Royal College of Defence Studies from London
State Secretary Starović underlined the Serbia’s policy of military neutrality, the essence of which is the absence of a desire to join any world military alliance. He also pointed out that such a policy does not imply self-isolation, but rather readiness for cooperation and sharing of responsibilities.
State Secretary Starović devoted special attention to the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, emphasising the outmost importance of the fulfilment of the mandate given to KFOR in the province, in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 1244 and the Military Technical Agreement, adding that the dialogue with Pristina must run smoothly, that the agreed terms must be observed and all unilateral moves avoided.
A total of 18 participants from 12 countries worldwide attended the briefing at the Foreign Ministry, as part of the study visit of the Royal College of Defence students to Serbia.
The Royal College of Defence is part of the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom and is the highest level of military training in the field of international relations and security, intended for senior military officers and diplomats.
