Spouse of the President of Serbia meets with the King of Eswatini

Spouse of the President of Serbia and our colleague from the Foreign Ministry, Tamara Vucic, continued her multi-day visit to African countries with a visit to the Kingdom of Eswatini, where she delivered a letter from President Aleksandar Vucic to the King of that African country and expressed her gratitude for the support lent by Eswatini to the national interests of Serbia.

Her Royal Highness Princess Tsandzile Dlamini, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Tourism and Minister of Information Technology extended a warm welcome to the Serbian delegation, which included a traditional dance performance.

On the same evening, a meeting was arranged with the King of Eswatini Mswati III and Queen Mother of Eswatini Ntfombi Tfwala, who is considered the spiritual and national head of state and mother of the nation.

Tamara Vucic handed over the letter from Serbian President Vucic to the King of Eswatini and expressed her gratitude for that country’s support for the national interests of Serbia.

At the meeting, both sides emphasized their commitment to mutual support in international organizations.

"The topics discussed included the specialized exhibition EXPO 2027 in Belgrade, as well as the participation of a delegation from Eswatini. Their Majesties thanked for the invitation and I believe that in the near future this visit will be realized, which would undoubtedly contribute to raising the good and friendly relations between the two countries to a special level", stressed the spouse of the President of Serbia after the meeting.
