Minister Selaković congratulates Easter

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Nikola Selaković congratulated Easter to the Serbian Patriarch Porfirije, bishops, clergy, monks and all believers who celebrate this holiday according to the Julian calendar.

Wishing that the holidays would bring spiritual peace, joy and strength, Minister Selaković pointed out that the symbolism of Easter should encourage everyone to follow and nurture the holy path of divine love, inspiring everyone with the necessary wisdom and strength to find answers to all temptations.

"The gracious power of Easter infuses us with faith in a new life and the eternal victory of good over evil, illuminating the path we should follow and calling for true closeness and unity of all Serbian people", it is emphasised in the congratulatory message.

Minister Selaković also expressed his strong belief that the wise words of Patriarch Porfirije would strengthen the spirit of unity and solidarity among all Serbian Orthodox brothers and sisters, and that his works would provide spiritual and moral support to the Orthodox people in preserving national and spiritual identity.

"Along with the wishes to spend the Easter holidays in good health, filled with peace and faith in the eternal life, I extend to you the most joyous of greetings: Christ is Risen!", it is stated in Minister Selaković`s congratulatory message.
