Minister Dačić with the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dačić, had a bilateral meeting earlier today with the Vice-President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, Antonio Tajani, within the Serbia  Italy Business and Science Forum held in Belgrade on 21 and 22 March 2023.

At the meeting, high level of bilateral relations of the two countries was established and readiness to strengthen the overall bilateral cooperation in all areas of common interest expressed. During the meeting, mutual interest for holding the next Fourth joint session of the two governments in Belgrade was confirmed, thus providing additional momentum in further development of bilateral relations.

The Italian party expressed dedicated support to the fastest possible European integration of the Republic of Serbia. In this context, Tajani announced the Ministerial meeting Italy – Western Balkans, being scheduled at the beginning of April in Rome.
