The Libyan-Serbian Business Forum has been opened

The Libyan-Serbian Business Forum, organized by the Ministry of Economy and Trade and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Libya, was inaugurated today in Tripoli.

The forum was opened by Libyan Minister of Economy and Trade, Muhammad Al-Huwayj, and Serbian State Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Stojanović, who discussed the economic potentials and opportunities for cooperation between Serbia and Libya.

Rajab Khalil, the General Director of the Agency for Investment and Privatization, also addressed the attendees, followed by a presentation from the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to Libyan and Serbian companies, the event gathered a significant number of representatives from Libyan state institutions and agencies, as well as foreign diplomats.

Before the commencement of the Forum, State Secretary Stojanović met with Minister Al-Huwayj, Deputy Minister of Justice Ali Ishtiwi, Chairman of the General Committee for Information Abdul Basit Salem Al-Baour, and the Government Spokesperson and Advisor to the Prime Minister Mohammed Hamoud. The meeting focused on enhancing economic and other forms of cooperation, as well as concrete steps to be taken in this regard in the upcoming period.
