Kozarev confers with the Ambassador of Venezuela

In a cordial exchange, held in the spirit of the decades-long friendship between the two countries, the interlocutors confirmed that Serbia and Venezuela share similarities in their geopolitical position and understand one another well regarding the challenges they face in the international arena.

Kozarev expressed satisfaction that, alongside mutual understanding on matters of state and national interests and a shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations, regular contacts between the highest officials of the two countries are also being maintained.

Kozarev and the Ambassador agreed that the upcoming session of the UN General Assembly would provide a good opportunity for a meeting between the two Ministers of Foreign Affairs and for further strengthening of ties between Serbia and Venezuela.

The talks also touched upon the potential for cooperation in the fields of health, transport, infrastructure, agriculture, and culture.
On this occasion, the Ambassador presented Secretary General Kozarev with a letter from President Nicolás Maduro addressed to the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.
