Jović confers with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic

The State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Damjan Jović, is on an official visit to the Czech Republic, where he met today with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Jiří Brodský to discuss key bilateral issues.
Particular attention was devoted to upcoming bilateral activities and opportunities to further enhance political dialogue, as well as economic, scientific and technological cooperation, including collaboration in the field of information technologies. State Secretary Jović expressed gratitude for the Czech Republic’s support for Serbia’s European integration process.
He briefed his interlocutor on the current situation in Kosovo and Metohija, with particular emphasis on the difficult position of the Serbian population and the Serbian Orthodox Church. The discussion also covered selected international issues of mutual interest and developments in the Western Balkans region.
