Jovanović confers with the Secretary General of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office
During the cordial and constructive meeting, views were exchanged on the importance of regional cooperation and the role of young people in building lasting peace, stability, and mutual trust in the Western Balkans.
It was particularly emphasized that the Regional Youth Cooperation Office marks its tenth anniversary this year, during which, through numerous programmes and projects, it has contributed to connecting young people across the region, strengthening dialogue, and encouraging cultural cooperation.
State Secretary Jovanović underscored that the Republic of Serbia highly values the work of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office and reaffirmed Serbia’s strong and continuous support for this important regional initiative. In that context, she highlighted the importance of further enhancing activities that promote cooperation, exchange, and networking among young people, as well as the need to continue joint work on projects that contribute to building a more stable and interconnected region.
The interlocutors agreed that continued support for programmes that connect young people and foster mutual understanding is of immense importance for the future of the region and expressed readiness to further strengthen cooperation and exchange experiences in the period ahead.
