Tokyo: Ambassador Kovač visited Aoyama Gakuin University
In front of about 150 students and guests from other universities, Ambassador Kovač spoke about the history and cultural inheritance of Serbia and the relations between Serbia and Japan from the first official bilateral contacts until today. She specifically emphasised the solidarity that the two nations demonstrated during the difficult moments.
Shortly before the lecture, Ambassador Kovač talked with Hiroshi Sakamoto, President of this educational institution, about the possibility of establishing cooperation with universities in Serbia, academic exchange, as well as deepening cooperation in the field of representation of Serbia.
The Ambassador especially thanked for the implementation of the joint initiative of the Embassy of Serbia, Aoyama Gakuin University, Matsubara Foods and organisation Moja Srbija from Japan for including mućkalica, a traditional Serbian dish, in the menu of the University canteen.
Professors and students had the opportunity to taste mućkalica with the Ambassador.
