Sofia: Ambassador Jović with representatives of the Science and Technology Park from Niš and Sofia

Representatives of NTPs made initial contact and started cooperation at the Bulgaria–Serbia Business Forum, which was organized by the Serbian Embassy in Sofia in June last year.

This meeting confirmed the mutual interest in establishing cooperation and implementation in the field of innovation and promotion of start-up and technology companies (innovation ecosystem), as well as in the field of technology transfer and legal protection.

Ambassador Jović welcomed the initiative and the awareness shown by both sides regarding the benefits of sharing all available resources. He also pointed out the great importance of exchanging experiences and staff, which would further improve the overall potential, primarily intellectual.

In addition to the above, the Ambassador pointed out that the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Sofia, in accordance with the available opportunities, will fully support and be engaged in all further activities, in the interest of both NTPs.
