Seoul: Ambassador Grbić with the Director-General for European Affairs at the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The interlocutors noted very good bilateral relations, as having significant potential for strengthening cooperation in numerous areas.

Concerning political relations, they talked about the plans and possibilities of making visits at a high and the highest level in the coming period. They also discussed the upcoming regular political consultations between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs, which would be held in Seoul.

Ambassador Grbić pointed out that there was a great potential for strengthening economic cooperation between Serbia and the Republic of Korea, emphasising Serbia`s investment potential was attracting more and more attention from successful Korean companies, as well as the opportunities for increasing the total volume of mutual trade.

The interlocutors exchanged their opinions on further cooperation in the field of culture, education, youth, and sports, placing special emphasis on the very good cooperation achieved by the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Korea in the international organisations. Ambassador Grbić used the opportunity to present the current candidacies of Serbia, and asked for Korea`s support, bearing in mind the friendly relations between the two countries.
