Presentation of the Book "Eslavia al sur"

In the premises of the Embassy of Serbia, on August 13, 2024, the presentation of the book by film critic and journalist Pablo De Vita "Eslavia al sur" about the filming of the only film created in cooperation between the cinematographers of the two countries, "The Road to the South", by Argentine director Juan Bautista Stagnaro, was held.

An extremely large number of guests responded to the invitation. From the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina, Deputy Minister Leopoldo Sahores was present, as well as several foreign ambassadors, representatives of the city authorities and cultural institutions of Buenos Aires, public life, as well as representatives of the local Serbian community.

Ambassador Veljko Lazić, director of the movie Stagnaro, author of the book De Vita, as well as the two most prominent local film critics, Romulo Berruti and Carlos Morelli, addressed those present.

In his presentation, Ambassador Lazić pointed out, among other things, that the author of the book, Pablo de Vita, is a great friend and respected associate of the Embassy of Serbia in Buenos Aires. He reminded the audience that a few years ago he was awarded for his special contribution in the implementation of numerous joint projects, as well as in the field of promoting Serbian culture and art, with the belief that this fruitful and successful cooperation will continue in the future.
