Prague: Ambassador Vekić meets with the Rector of the Charles University

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Czech Republic Berislav Vekić has met with the newly elected Rector of the Charles University (CU) Professor Milena Králíčková.

Ambassador Vekić and Professor Králíčková talked about the scientific and educational exchange between Serbia and the Czech Republic, with an emphasis on cooperation with respect to higher education, particularly in the field of medicine. Ambassador Vekić informed Professor Králíčková of Serbia’s progress in the field of education and a growing number of Serbian PhD students of the CU.

The two concurred that the CU, as the most renowned higher education institution in the Czech Republic, played an important role in the educational and scientific exchange between the two countries, and that the exchange required promoting the CU in Serbia and vice versa ― promoting the Serbian higher educational establishments and universities in the Czech Republic.

Ambassador Vekić wished Professor Králíčková much success in her future endeavours.
