Ohrid: Ambassador Jovanović met with special representatives for the Western Balkans

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to North Macedonia Nevena Jovanović participated in a joint working breakfast of regional representatives and five special representatives for the Western Balkans: Gabriel Escobar (USA), Miroslav Lajčák (EU), Sir Stuart Peach (UK), Manuel Saracin (Germany) and Johannes Aigner (Austria).
The meeting was organised by Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani, on the margins of the Prespa Forum Dialogue in Ohrid within the informal B6 regional format, with the aim of deepening cooperation in key areas of common interest and speeding up EU integration of the Western Balkans.
It was emphasised that the gathering was important for strengthening regional cooperation, especially since it was the first joint meeting of special representatives for the Western Balkans with the regional representatives.
The B6 regional format was launched as part of last year's Prespa Forum Dialogue in order to establish direct communication on issues of regional interest.
