Chisinau: Ambassador Tomašević met with the President of the Republic of Moldova

At the meeting, the importance of respecting international public law was emphasised, as well as the principled and consistent positions of Serbia and Moldova on preserving the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the two countries, and providing mutual support on this issue at the international level.

Further work on improving bilateral sectoral cooperation and intensifying high-level and top-level contacts, signing important bilateral agreements, as well as university cooperation and organisation of business forums were discussed.

Special emphasis was placed on the importance of continuing the European path of the two countries, whereas the Serbian side expressed the readiness for support and sharing experiences.
