Brussels: Promotional business meeting on investment and economic potential of Serbia

The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Vojvodina European Office in Brussels, and the Representative Office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia in Brussels organised a promotional business meeting on investments and opportunities for transferring some of the business activities of major companies to Serbia.

Representatives of the biggest association of entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises in the Belgian region of Flanders - UNIZO, which has over 110,000 members, were introduced to the investment and economic potential of the Republic of Serbia and the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, as well as near-shoring opportunities of our region.

The opening speech by Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Belgium Aleksandar Tasić was followed by a presentation on the conditions and benefits of doing business in Serbia, by representatives of the Development Agencies of Serbia and Vojvodina and of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia.

The UNIZO delegation, led by its Managing Director, consisted of representatives of 15 companies interested in achieving closer cooperation with economic entities from Serbia.
