Political relations

There is a potential for improvement relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Vanuatu in various areas.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Vanuatu, Matai Seremaja Navalu, visited the Republic of Serbia from 21 to 23 October 2024.

On the sidelines of the 53rd Pacific Islands Forum Leaders' Meeting in Tonga in August 2024, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, and Prime Minister of the Republic of Vanuatu, Charles Salvai.

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia at the time, Ivica Dačić, met President Obed Moses Tallis, Prime Minister Jotham Napat and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Vanuatu Ralph Regenvanu during his visit to the country during the period 20—23 November 2019.

 

Economic relations

There is potential for the development of economic cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and Republic of Vanuatu.

 

Bilateral agreements

Memorandum of Understanding on Political Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and External Trade of the Republic of Vanuatu, signed in 2024.

Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Sports between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Vanuatu, signed in 2024.
