Political relations
The Republic of Serbia is interested in strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation with the Republic of Panama.
The former First Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dačić attended the inauguration ceremony of President of the Republic of Panama, Laurentino Cortis Cohen on 1 July 2019.
On 24 June 2026, on the sidelines of the OAS General Assembly in Panama, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Marko Đurić met with Panama’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Javier Eduardo Martínez-Acha Vásquez. On this occasion, the two sides signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Panama on the Mutual Abolition of Visa Requirements for Holders of Diplomatic and Official Passports, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Diplomatic Academies.
Economic relations
According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the total trade exchange with Panama in 2025 amounted to €1.1 million, of which €0.9 million referred to exports from the Republic of Serbia and €0.2 million to imports.

On 24 June 2026, the following documents were signed:
