Political relations

Political relations between Serbia and Brunei Darussalam are insufficiently developed.

There were no meetings at the highest level since the establishment of diplomatic relations. The last high-level meeting was conducted in 2011, when the MFA at the time V. Jeremić visited Brunei, and the MFA of Brunei at the time, Prince M. Bolkiah, lead the delegation of Brunei at the MS of the NAM in Belgrade in September 2011. Bilateral meetings were held on this occasion with the President of the Republic of Serbia at the time B. Tadić and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior I. Dačić.

Economic relations

In 2024, total trade with Brunei Darussalam amounted to 546 thousand USD, of which exports amounted to 515 thousand USD (an increase of 237%) and imports to 41 thousand USD (an increase of 153.4%).
