ENTERING AND LEAVING THE COUNTRY                                                                                            Citizens of the Republic of Serbia require a visa to enter Mongolia.

USEFUL INFORMATION

HEALTH SITUATION — Mongolia is a safe country. Travel and health insurance is required for the intended period of stay in Mongolia. Vaccination certificates are generally not required, except in special circumstances (such as was the SARS epidemic). For students and others who intend to stay in Mongolia for a period exceeding 3 months, HIV test is required.

TRANSPORT — Usual modes of travel to Mongolia include airplane or train. There is one international airport located in the capital city Ulaanbaatar.

OTHER INFORMATION
National currency: Mongolian Tugrik (MNT). Visa or Master cards are accepted in some higher-end hotels, restaurants, and department stores in Ulaanbaatar.
