For holders of diplomatic and official passports:          

Visa not required for a period of stay up to ninety (90) days, within a period of six months from the date of first entry.

For holders of national passports and other travel documents:

Visa not required for a period of stay up to ninety (90) days, within a period of six months from the date of first entry.

Note:

Visa required for holders of national passports and other travel documents in transit. Visa is issued on condition of possession of visa of the destination country.

 

ENTRY REGIME FOR CITIZENS OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Citizens of the Republic of Serbia may enter Mongolia under condition that they present a negative PCR test, not older than 72 hours (counting from the point of departure). Upon arrival, persons who have not been vaccinated against the Covid 19 will have to stay in quarantine for 7 days. During those 7 days they will be retested. Information on objects designated for quarantine can be found and booked on the following website www.tabinfo.mn . In case a person in quarantine is tested positive for Corona virus, he/she will be transferred to a hospital for further medical care.
Travelers that have arrived to Mongolia 14 days after the vaccination, or those that have earlier been diagnosed with Corona virus infection, and have fully recovered from it, are exempt from mandatory quarantine after they present valid proof of vaccination or recovery from infection.

 

ENTERING AND LEAVING THE COUNTRY

Visitors to Mongolia who intend to stay more than 30 days must register with the Office of Immigration, Naturalization and Foreign Citizens.

Social security agreement has not been concluded.

 

USEFUL INFORMATION                                                                                                       

HEALTH SITUATION — Mongolia is a safe country. Travel and health insurance is required for the intended period of stay in Mongolia. Vaccination certificates are generally not required, except in special circumstances (such as was the SARS epidemic). For students and others who intend to stay in Mongolia for a period exceeding 3 months, HIV test is required.

TRANSPORT — Usual modes of travel to Mongolia include airplane or train. There is one international airport located in the capital city Ulaanbaatar.

OTHER INFORMATION

National currency: Mongolian Tugrik (MNT). Visa or Master cards are accepted in some higher-end hotels, restaurants, and department stores in Ulaanbaatar.
