Đurić Confers with RCC Secretary General in Antalya

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, met in Antalya with the Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council, Amer Kapetanović.

Minister Đurić underscored that Serbia attaches immense importance to the work of the RCC, emphasizing that the organization represents a positive example of fostering cooperation in this part of Europe and that Serbia remains a sincere and constructive partner of the RCC.

He highlighted that Serbia sees significant potential for strengthening regional ties, noting that regional cooperation is one of the country’s foreign policy priorities, and stressed the importance of further enhancing the RCC’s role in facilitating cooperation across a wide range of areas.

The Minister also emphasized that, as a candidate for membership in the European Union, Serbia strongly advocates for strengthening relations with its neighbors and continuing a policy of reconciliation, underlining that this is an integral part of the European integration process. He further noted that Serbia highly values the RCC’s cooperation with the European Union and considers that cooperation in the context of European integration should remain a key pillar of the RCC’s activities.
