Jovanović at the central event “School Network”

The State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Nevena Jovanović, attended today the central event “School Network,” held at the Palace of Serbia and organized by the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, dedicated to enhancing institutional cooperation in the field of professional development and capacity building of civil servants.

Addressing the participants, Jovanović emphasized that continuous professional development and the acquisition of new knowledge represent the most significant positive outcomes of the School Network.

“The greatest achievement of the School Network lies in the continuous professional development of those employed within the public administration system, and this is precisely the guiding principle we should follow in the future. This initiative clearly demonstrates how essential interministerial cooperation is and how much we have advanced it through this model. I am confident that this successful cooperation will continue in the period ahead. Lifelong learning is not merely a privilege, but also an obligation for us as responsible civil servants,” Jovanović stated.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Diplomatic Academy are part of the School Network, together with the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Justice, the National Academy for Public Administration, and the Judicial Academy.
