Political relations

Relations between the Republic of Serbia and Tuvalu have potential for improvement in various areas.

Tuvaluan Prime Minister Feleti Teo visited the Republic of Serbia on 20-21 November 2024.

On the sidelines of the 79th United Nations General Assembly in September 2024, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tuvalu, Paulson Panapa.

On the sidelines of the 53rd Pacific Islands Forum Leaders' Summit in Tonga in August 2024, a bilateral meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tuvalu, Paulson Panapa.

 

Economic relations

In 2022, only imports from Tuvalu in the amount of one thousand USD were recorded.

 

Bilateral agreements 

Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Tuvalu on the abolition of visas for holders of regular passports, signed in 2024.

Agreement on the abolition of visas for diplomatic and official passports, signed in 2024.
