Political relations
Bilateral relations between the two countries are good and without open issues. They are characterized by mutually expressed readiness to promote dialogue and cooperation in all fields of common interest.
The then First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić paid a bilateral visit to Paraguay in March 2019.
Economic relations
According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the total trade exchange with Paraguay in 2025 amounted to €1.3 million, of which €438 thousands referred to exports from the Republic of Serbia and €906 thousands to imports.
