The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Beijing and the Consulate of the Republic of Serbia in Shanghai, in cooperation with the branch of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce in China, participated in the Consumer Goods Fair, where Serbia was the host country this year.

In order to promote the trade and economic cooperation between China and 17 countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the city of Ningbo has been designated by the Government of the People's Republic of China as a platform for the promotion of trade and economic cooperation in almost all areas of the economy.

During the opening of the fair, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, emphasized in his address via video link that Serbia is one of China's greatest friends and partners in Europe and expressed hope that quality Serbian products will be successfully placed on the Chinese market this year as well, and that the trend of increased trade between the two countries will continue.

This year, Serbia appeared with products from 18 consumer goods companies, such as wine and beverages, organic jams, dried fruits, dietary supplements, edible oils, various organic fruit spreads, as well as food and cosmetics for dogs.

This four-day event, in which our Embassy and the Consulate participated in all accompanying activities and events, was attended by over 7,000 customers and more than 2,000 exhibitors.
