Đurić: We will monitor the implementation of the American decree and the possible consequences for the region

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the United States, Marko Đurić, stated on the occasion of the adoption of the American decree on blocking the property and banning persons entering the United States who contribute to destabilizing the situation in the Western Balkans, that Belgrade will carefully analyze its content, monitor its implementation and possible consequences for the region, even the citizens of Serbia, and will measure its reactions in relation to that.

"Judging by the fact that respecting the Resolution 1244 and the Dayton Agreement was mentioned in the updated regulation on the sanctions, I want to believe that the authors actually had in mind those who advocate the abolition of Republika Srpska and redrawing of the borders in which Serbia is recognized as a UN member, including Kosovo and Metohija – so certain separatists in Kosovo and Metohija and unitarians in B&H", said Đurić.
